"REJOICE WITH ME, FOR I HAVE
FOUND MY LOST SHEEP" (Luke 15:6)
On
Sunday, February 28, a large group of parish youth participated for the first
time in the Sacrament of Penance. Readers for the ceremony were Alex
Boyles, Taylor Hritz, Sam Lauer and Ben Schweitzer, along with parent(s).
A number of visiting priests were on hand to hear confessions, including Father
Reese.
After receiving the Sacrament, each child placed a sheep on the board,
with Jesus as shepherd. Then, all were treated to punch and cookies in the
Church Hall.
